Our recording aims at presenting not only those compositions that we know existed in connection of Prague University, but also in portraying music that would have been familiar within educated university circles and would have been performed in students, clergymen and laymen communities. We would thus like to show the many varieties of musical creation in the Czech lands during the late Middle Age.
