This CD features the Vlach Quartet and the Verner "clan". Pavel Verner - the Prague Symphonic Orchestra solo oboist, Michael Verner - 1st bassoonist of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Petr Verner - violinist in the New Vlach Quartet. Pavel Verner, author of the sleeve-note, sums up Rejcha's music as follows, "Rejcha's music is of great beauty and perhaps no degree of humility is sufficient as we approach this work."
