The documentary on Eugen Suchoň, which appeared on the occasion of his centenary, a year of activities connected with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national composer, aims to make the man and his work more accessible in the context of historical and cultural changes from a present-day viewpoint. Experts (Prof. Naďa Hrčková, Prof. Vladimír Bokes, Prof. Ferdinand Klinda a PhDr. Danica Suchoňová-Štilichová) who were in close contact with him and his work speak about him as the founder of a national music and about his fortunes as an author. DVD including also English version.

Dokument o Eugenovi Suchoňovi, ktorý vznikol pri príležitosti Storočnice, roka podujatí k stému výročiu narodenia skladateľa, má za cieľ priblížiť jeho postavu a tvorbu v kontexte premien doby a kultúry z dnešného pohľadu. O autorských osudoch zakladateľa národnej hudby prehovoria svedectvá odborníkov, ktorí boli s ním a s jeho tvorbou v užšom kontakte: Prof. Naďa Hrčková, Prof. Vladimír Bokes, Prof. Ferdinand Klinda a PhDr. Danica Suchoňová-Štilichová.
